Uplands Road to Poupou Stream
Saturday, 16 April 2022
Nearest Town: Katikati
Registration Region: Katikati
Duration: 3 hours
Start Time: 9:00 am - Meeting at end of Upland Rd, Aongatete
This track through the Bush links up with a bull dozer track formed during geological investigations for the Kaimais Tunnel construction. There are some slippery clay sections, but the Bush is regenerating.
From the main track we will head off to the right to go down to the Poupou Stream, where it is a nice place to stop and have a bite to eat.
With the uncertainty of Covid, we are registering 10 people for this walk and running a waiting list there after.
At such times as the Festival rolling around in April 2022, we will have a better understanding for numbers allowed in a group and will contact the wait list to fill the extra spots.
- Bring Food and Drink

PLEASE NOTE: Participants are responsible for their own safety equipment, food, water, clothing and vehicles.
The Festival is a non-profit event which relies heavily on volunteers, and donations to help pay for the organisation and promotion of the month-long event.
