Kirikiri Battery Tramp
Meet in the car park on Neavesville Road, at the end of the road up the valley. (Be-aware of some storm damage on road)
Some big Kauris on the way, geological features, volcanic plugs and regenerating bush. Also there are some gold mining relics.
14 km. A good degree of fitness required.
Our guides for the day are from Kauaeranga Tramping Club.
