Discover Waitekohekohe – A Guided Forest Walk. Step into the beautiful lowland forest of the Kaimai Mamaku Ranges, following the gentle flow of the Waitekohe Stream. On this guided walk, you’ll learn fascinating snippets about the local flora and fauna, while exploring the well-developed walkways of the Waitekohekohe Activity Park – a space designed for everyone to enjoy. This is a dog-friendly walk – bring your four-legged companion along for the adventure. A little treat – bring your own morning tea and take in the beautiful surroudings of the Waitekohe Stream. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with nature, discover hidden gems in our own backyard, and share the experience with friends, family, or your furry pal.
