Duration: 1.5 - 2 hours

Start Time: 9:00 am - Anzac Bay car park

Cost: Donation

Reon Tuanau of Te Whānau a Tauwhao will greet you at the lower Waipaopao (Anzac Bay) carpark near the public restrooms.  We start by setting off for the upper car park via the road access, taking in the magnificent views of Te Moana a Toi.

Reon will share with us the areas rich cultural history throughout the morning. This is a gentle walk, with time taken to stop and be enriched with this lands stories and learn of Mananui, the stronghold Pā that protected the people of Te Whānau a Tauwhao, Reon is an amazing orator and the opportunity to take part should not be missed.

Maximum 40 people.

PLEASE NOTE: Participants are responsible for their own safety equipment, food, water, clothing and vehicles.

The Festival is a non-profit event which relies heavily on volunteers, and donations to help pay for the organisation and promotion of the month-long event.

Any contribution received towards ECHO is greatly appreciated and helps to ensure the success and continuation of the festival.
