Track Details: From the car park we take the Long loop track straight ahead, this track does contain some steps and uneven ground. We often see kereru (native wood pigeon) and friendly NZ robins, thanks in part to the wonderful work of the pest control group Friends of Puketoki. The Te Puna stream wends its way quietly through it and check out the giant Rimu and Puriri trees!

And please note: along the way we will also hunt for easter eggs!

“Come on a guided family friendly bush walk with nature adventures bloggers, Tammy and Anita from www.forestfamilynz.com the kids will have a great time exploring here!”
