Pauanui-Tairua Trail - Night Walk

This track has been constructed by volunteers and local contractors with a goal of linking the towns of Pauanui and Tairua. Beginning at a WW1 Memorial Forest, the trail becomes a boardwalk over mangroves before returning to a well formed metaled path through pine forest and onto expansive views of the estuary and surrounding countryside. Walk with one of the key drivers of this great community project on an exciting night walk to catch a glimpse of local night creatures along the trail.
