Start Time: 10:00 am - Waikino Station carpark
A puzzle for kids … not really! Meeting at the Waikino Cafe Carpark we follow the trail under the road, over the bridge, past the tanks, beside the river, past the pub, alongside the giant Christmas trees, through the gates over and up the road to the beautiful Owharoa Falls. Then back the way we came to the Victoria battery. Check out the old brick kilns, the museum and mining treasures that are part of this historic area (specially for kids!).
