One foot in front of the other for the steep climb to the Karangahake Mountain summit and magnificent views of Waikato and the Thames Valley.

This walk will take the long road home on a lesser known path that ambles right around the back of the mountain through huge tawa trees with stunning views down to the Waitawheta River on your descent.
