Hot Springs Domain to Tui Mine - Return

SATURDAY April 21.

Due to remediation work at the Tui Mine the Hot Springs Domain to Tui Mine walk on Saturday April 21 has altered route which is equally as spectacular.

Starting at the Hot Springs Domain we follow the Tui Domain track to a series of waterfalls - the Crusher Falls, Tutumangaeo Falls and the Quarry Falls.  There are historic photos of families enjoying the Tutumangaeo Falls from a hundred years ago and access has been made possible again due to the work of local community groups.  Continue along to the Tunakohoia Falls and Tui Rd before returning along the foothills to the Te Aroha Hot Springs Domain where walkers can soak at the hot pools if they choose.
